The bronze alloy is made by pure copper(red copper) after adding tin or plumbum alloys. Compared with pure copper (red copper), bronze has high strength and low melting point (25% tin bronze's melting point is 800℃).The melting point of pure copper (red copper) is 1083℃.Bronze has good performance in casting, abrasion resistance and stability of chemical properties. Beryllium bronze, aluminum bronze, tin bronze and CuNi2Si bronze are popular alloy types of bronze.

| UNS / Grade | Common Name | Fabrication Method | Key Characteristics | Typical Applications |
| C93200 | SAE 660 / Bearing Bronze | Cast | Resists friction, wear, impacts, and corrosion; easy to machine, solder, and braze; often supplied oversized for finishing to exact tolerances | Bushings, bearings, valves, moving parts, general-purpose components |
| C95400 | Aluminum Bronze | Cast | Contains aluminum and iron for added strength, machinability, and wear resistance; corrosion-resistant; can be welded or brazed | Wear strips and plates, valves, pumps, bearings, machine tools |
| 841 | Sintered Bronze / Oilite | Powder Metallurgy | Powdered metal with SAE 30-weight oil for self-lubricating properties; smooth internal and external finish | Bearings, bushings, self-lubricating pumps, moving parts in inaccessible areas |
| Oilite (AM1-SPD) | Self-Lubricating Bronze | Powder Metallurgy | Contains AM1-SPD synthetic oil for longer life, less friction, and wider temperature range than grade 841 | Bearings, bushings, pumps, industrial and machining applications |
| Super Oilite | High-Load Bronze | Powder Metallurgy | Contains iron to handle high loads; AM1-SPD synthetic oil for self-lubrication | High-load bearings and bushings |
| C89835 | Bismuth Tin Bronze | Cast | Lead-free; malleable, corrosion-resistant, thermally conductive; safe for drinking water applications | Faucets, plumbing and pipe fittings, gears |
| C51100 | Phosphor Bronze (4% Sn) | Wrought / Seamless | High strength, excellent fatigue resistance, good corrosion resistance | Spring applications, chemical hardware, wear components |
| C52100 | Phosphor Bronze (8% Sn) | Wrought / Seamless | Very high strength and hardness, excellent wear resistance | High-stress components, heavy-duty springs |
